Measuring Safety Culture Workshop and Developing Action Plans

Attendees will learn how to begin measuring the health of their safety culture with a safety culture survey, and how to interpret and use the resulting data to develop action plans.

1. New Measurement Tool: Learn about a new FAA-developed survey tool, from design to testing, and review what factors an organization must consider in selecting and implementing a survey tool. Discuss why we measure safety culture and additional measurement strategies.
2. Interpreting and Prioritizing Results: Practice examining mock survey results to learn how to interpret data and prioritize actionable results that align to your organization’s unique needs.
3. Developing Action Plans: Develop action items in small groups based on mock results and share data-driven strategies for driving positive organizational safety culture change.
